1973

  

Tovo Gomma company is started on 1500 sqm covered area for the production of rubber sheets for technical uses and industrial applications. The main factory has an area of 14,000 sqm. of which 8,000 sqm are covered and 800 occupied by offices and laboratories.
The industrial plant includes one compound mixing line, one calender machine and compression moulding machines.

 
1976 First extension with the building of offices, laboratories and a new mixing room with a 120 litres Banbury line equipped with a fully automatic dosage system. To the sheet production it adds the production of compounds for other factories producing injection moulded seals, O-Rings, oiI seals and so on.

 
1987 The rubber sheets department is improved with a modern roller head and two continuous vulcanizing machines (rotocure).

 
1992 A second Banbury line of 180 litres starts to work for the black compounds, while the existing one remains for the coloured compounds.

 
1995 The second factory has an area of 19,000 sqm of which 4,000 are covered and 300 occupied by offices.Acquisition of a new building for cutting, storing and deliverying the sheets.
